Giving
Thank you for considering supporting the School of Public Policy.
Reasons to Give
The School of Public Policy has inspired a community of donors who allow us to fulfill our mission: developing policy solutions that address the biggest policy challenges faced by governments and business in Canada.
Becoming a member of this community of engaged citizens means you are helping to fund our research programs, publications, outreach, and student support as well as shaping policy education and research in the years to come.
Your tax-deductible donation is life-changing: whether encouraging trail-blazing research and policy recommendations or helping to relieve the financial stress on students pursuing graduate-level post-secondary education, your support helps attracting the talented and diverse minds who are already or will be soon future leaders in the private, public, and non-profit sectors.
Giving Opportunities
Your contribution to The School of Public Policy is a contribution not just to students and world-class researchers’ work— but to Canada’s future.

Supporting Students
In a world with complex societal issues, it is critical that we develop the capacity of Canada’s future policy makers. Your support to our graduate students will provide an opportunity for an elite education for deserving students in an environment rich with passion, collaborative energy and ambition.
Donors transform lives. Five years ago, I made the decision to begin my undergraduate degree. At the time, I was a newly single mother of four children, aged 7, 10, 13, and 15, living in a small town south of Calgary, and received little to no child support. My decision to acquire a post-secondary education was multi-faceted: I wanted to be inspired, I wanted to inspire my children, and I wanted to learn… but most of all, I wanted a way up and out of where I found myself. In my opinion, education is the vehicle required to make that move.
Because of donors, I graduated Summa Cum Laude, and was accepted into the Master of Public Policy program at the University of Calgary, which I recently completed. I will be grateful for the rest of my life for the people who gave me the means to change everything. My win is your win.
