Marcia Nelson, former Alberta Deputy Minister of Executive Council, becomes Fellow

The School of Public Policy is very pleased to announce the appointment of Marcia Nelson, former Alberta Deputy Minister of Executive Council, as a Fellow at The School effective immediately. Commenting on the appointment, PG Forest, Director and James S. and Barbara A. Palmer Chair in Public Policy noted, “The goal of The School is to bring to the table experienced practitioners in business and government to create research that is informed by real-world competency. Ms. Nelson’s decades in government leadership will increase our policy research capacity significantly, and she will be a valuable resource to our Master of Public Policy students. We welcome her enthusiastically”.
